Hi! We are Eddie and Tara! We are the owners of Kayaking Adventures of Tennessee and we thank you for following our off season cleanups! We believe in the protection and preservation of all of our beautiful areas. We are so blessed to be able to operate on the beautiful Center Hill Lake during the Spring, Summer & Fall months so all winter long we spend as much time as possible giving back by taking care of the entire lake and beyond! Center Hill Lake is 64 miles long and has over 400 miles of shoreline, so we have plenty to keep clean! Follow along as we help keep our area (plus more areas!) clean and make a lasting impact!
Please Remember to Leave No Trace while visiting our trails and waterways. Always leave the area you visit better than you found it to help protect and preserve these incredible spots!

This park is in Celina, TN is at Dale Hollow Lake! We had a request for help last year to get over here and clean by our follower Tracy. We finally made it over there this year and with Tracy's help collected 121.63 pounds of trash! We had to hike it out around a half mile so it wasn't easy, but it left a lasting, positive impact on this beautiful Tennessee lake!

We've cleaned parts of Davies Island before but because it's so big we could only get one small side. We went and cleaned up another section today! We were able to pile up 125.95 pounds of trash to be picked up!

We were visiting Harrison Bay SP for an eagle release, but we made a quick stop at Booker T. Washington SP on the way. We were able to get 79.5 pounds of trash between the two parks. Most of it came from a roadside cleanup at the entrance of Harrison Bay SP. Please help Tennessee stay beautiful by properly disposing of trash! Much of what we found was simply tossed on the side.

We went out in our, new to us, Jon boat today looking for some trashy places on the lake. Since the lake is 64 miles long, we have plenty of places to look! We collected something from almost every cove we came across and got one big pile to be collected later by the army corps with their pontoon. It was a total weight of 529.19 Pounds!

We went out in the Jon boat again today looking for some trashy places on the lake. We hit the same area because of all of the tires we saw the previous day. We went ahead and collected them all, plus more trash and put it all into a pile to be retrieved at a later date! It was a total weight of 792.27 Pounds!

We went out with friends for some early morning exploration and trash removal at one of our favorite places! Together we were able to bring back 64.69 pounds of trash! Thanks to our wonderful friends for helping to keep our beautiful lake clean and being great stewards to mother nature!

We took the Jon Boat out to do a little trash recon for larger group pickups and do a little cleanup and hike while we were at it! We found a very dirty tree line by the water and started to clean it only to realize we were definitely going to need some more hand for this area! So we piled what we could and have a plan to come back and finish the job. We piled 121.27 Pounds in this trip out!

We took a friend out to visit The Queen, Burgess Falls and of course had to clean up along the way! We were able to collect 31.65 pounds during our trip! We love our beautiful lake and waterfall and this is the best time of the year to get trash, when water levels are low!

We visited West Tennessee for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful day at the park! It's an incredibly beautiful park! We did find some trash in the parking area of one of the trails, so we cleaned it all up and then hit the trail with our trash bag in hand! We were able to collect 10.68 pounds along the way!

We took to the lake again today to find a different area to clean! We picked an area where we would be able to bring back all of the trash in the Jon boat. We were able to collect 152.96 pounds of trash and we managed not to sink the boat!!

We took to the lake again today to find a different area to clean! We went up Fall Creek and found a huge spot of trash. We grabbed all that the job boat would hold and headed back. We will be back to this area soon to get more! We were able to pack on 207.17 pounds of trash!

Its become our yearly tradition to cleanup the trash and candy after the Christmas parade every year. This year was no different! We love our small town and keeping it beautiful! We collected 20.49 pounds of trash!

Our wonderful friends Kathy & Gene told us they were going to clean up trash by their house and we asked if we could come too! We cleaned up the roadway in front of City Lake Natural Area in Cookeville, TN and the dam down the road as well! Together we were able to collect 359.47 pounds of trash!

We had a great day cleaning up some of the sides of the road in Dekalb, White and Putnam counties today. As well as Austin Bottom launch. We were able to get 98.43 pounds of trash and happily drove back by clean roadsides on the way home!
